Post bariatrics

After massive weight loss, either through dietary-hygiene treatments and exercise programs, or through the increasingly frequent and successful Obesity Surgery (Bariatric), many patients seek help for the aesthetic reconstruction of the body contour .
It has been demonstrated the benefit in the Quality of Life in patients who undergo a gastric procedure to reduce weight, losing 40 to 80% of excess weight. However, despite this important improvement in health, patients may be concerned about some situations, such as excess skin. Depending on the method, the amount of weight and speed of the loss, in addition to other factors of the patient (age, sex, type and quality of tissues, nutritional status, physical activity), an excessive excess of skin can result.
Sagging or excess skin and fatty tissue after massive weight loss can affect virtually the entire body, from the face and neck to the legs. This generates a lot of discomfort for the patient:
Inability to wear certain clothes.
